We visit the ambush site where the first rifle shot of World War 1 was fired in anger on Australian soil. Follow the tracks of the attackers & read the story behind the picnic train ambush. We visit the country club where the 18 hole golf course has been transformed from semi-arid desert into lush green fairways.
We view the old miners cottages that were brought in by camels and bullock trains from Silverton after the first world war was over.
We travel around the city taking in the Afghan Mosque, Pro Hart's son Igloo shaped house and many Heritage buildings and homes. We visit The new Hospital & Schools, also on the tour is the Old New Broken Hill Consolidated mine where we listen to the story of the Zinc Lakes.
We visit the only memorial in the world to the band that played their hearts out and gave their lives on the ill fated maiden voyage of the H.M.S. Titanic .
Also on the tour we see the Gaol, West Side Plaza then skirt around the mines while hearing the colourful history of our wonderful city before heading back to our motels.

We follow in the footsteps of Cameron Burke & Wills ( Great Australian Surveyors) & visit Sunset Strip-Copi Hollow & The Great Fresh Water Lakes.
We travel around the grape vines and orchards then lunch at D J 's Coffee Shop.
After lunch we visit the Port of Menindee & travel along the Great Darling River to the Kinchega Woolshed National Park.
We take in the grave site of one of Burke's camel drivers before leisurely making our way back home

We travel to Wilcannia to view the wonderful sandstone buildings-have morning tea there and then make our way to White Cliffs. Whilst there we visit the Underground Motel - Outback Treasures - Top Level Opals - The Solar Power Station. Lunch at the corner store before visiting Jocks Place and finally the old diggings on the outskirts of the Opal Fields before heading back home arriving at about 5.00 pm
